Symptoms of Peri Menopause

The most dreaded stage of a woman’s life is the menopausal period. This is the time when a woman starts to feel bizarre changes in her body. This may be a bit uncomfortable hence women should be well educated on the menopause symptoms so she too can know what to do in case it happens. Menopause is actually the time from the last period and start counting twelve months forward.

There is also what we call the peri menopause stage. This happens when it takes 2-6 years for the body to stop producing estrogen and other reproductive hormones. This is in this period when a woman would begin feeling the normal menopause symptoms. Some of the classic symptoms of peri menopause will be discussed in this article to help women be aware and be prepared for this normal occurrence in women.

Once you know the peri menopause symptoms, you will certainly know on how to deal with it and not be alarmed. Hot flashes or night sweats are the most common symptoms of peri menopause. In order to get rid of the discomfort brought by this symptom, drink something cold and refreshing. Stay away from alcoholic beverages and settle for the unsweetened and nonalcoholic drinks. You can also wear layers that are made of natural fabric once you feel the first sign of hot flashing. This can be easily removed once you experience hot flashes. It would also help if you use sheets and blankets that are made of natural fabrics so your skin can regulate the temperature.

Feel Good Again Alternative to Traditional Hormone Replacement Therapy

Could Progesterone cream really be the “Feel Good Again” replacement therapy? The public at large can decide for itself. The publisher of the new site, http://www.pro-gestcream.com, put together a collection of product information and consumer reviews from women around the country who weigh in on this subject. Get the reports that count from real people with real experience.

Progesterone cream is used by many women in the U.S. and by women all over the world. Many people have heard about it, but not everyone understands what it is used for. There are many women who substitute Pro-gest cream for the progesterone component of combined hormone replacement therapy (HRT). One product suggests that USP Progesterone from Wild Yam is Bio-identical to what is produced in the human body.

Why do women choose Progesterone creams over traditional HRT therapy? It appears there are various reasons. “Natural” progesterone creams can help relieve depression, hot flashes, and night sweats associated with menopause. There are claims that use of a topical progesterone cream reduces osteoporosis, and may eliminate vaginal dryness. It may also be used to treat irregular periods or significant PMS, and some women may use progesterone cream as a miscarriage preventative. (Most claims regarding these creams have not been proven, and most evidence is anecdotal.) Although, the anecdotal evidence is over-whelming in the case of progesterone cream!
